Childbirth is said to be a level 10 pain, but it turns out menstrual cramps are divided into 7 levels 😖

Besides the pain of childbirth, there's another kind of pain that men can't understand—menstrual cramps. Every month, women experience several days of unbearable pain, losing their appetite and becoming unable to do anything but lie flat at home.

In fact, menstrual cramps are definitely not just about pain. Studies show that severe menstrual cramps can be comparable to a heart attack, accompanied by severe vomiting, limb pain, headaches, and even fainting.

Clinically, menstrual cramps can be divided into 7 levels:

Level 1 😃: No symptoms. If you're lucky, congratulations!

Level 2 😞: Mild lower abdominal pain, tolerable, doesn't affect work or daily life. It's recommended to avoid raw, cold, spicy, and stimulating foods, and keep your abdomen warm.

Level 3 😔: Mild abdominal cramps, causing restlessness, cold sweats, and difficulty concentrating on work or daily life. It is recommended to apply a warm compress or hot water bottle to the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region. Start conditioning your body before menstruation and avoid cold and raw foods.

Level 4 😩🥺: Abdominal cramps, cold sweats, even nausea and vomiting, unable to work and requiring rest lying down. Medical attention is recommended. If the pain persists, an examination of the uterus and ovaries is recommended.

Level 5 😖😭: Severe pain (may be tearing pain), unresponsive to painkillers, possibly accompanied by vomiting, and tightness and pain in the lower back and legs. Recommendation: Rest in bed as much as possible. After the pain subsides, seek help from a doctor/specialist and undergo appropriate gynecological examinations.

Level 6 😭🤢: Pain so severe that walking is impossible, accompanied by vomiting, headache, and even fainting. Painkillers only provide temporary relief. Recommendation: Seek immediate medical attention.

Level 7 🤮😭😖: Abdominal pain as if being pounded, difficulty even lying flat, and confusion. Recommendation: Call an ambulance. After the pain subsides, consult a specialist for a medical examination and to determine the appropriate treatment plan based on your individual situation.
